“One of the important elements is the fight against hatred and the promotion of coexistence”
Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates and Chairman of the Home Affairs Committee for Security Affairs, spoke on Wednesday at the 2021 World Investment Forum sponsored by the Jerusalem Post and Halij Times, on the importance of the existence of the conference after Operation Guardian of the Wall.
“The message I get from it is that the Abrahamic accords are not part of history, but of our future,” said Al Nuaimi, who received thunderous applause.
“They are the future of the whole region, for that we must fight, and we must want to fight,” he stressed.
“One of the important elements is the fight against hatred and the promotion of coexistence,” he added.
“Terrorism and extremism are not a threat to a people or a threat to a region, but a threat to the whole world”.
“Since the agreements, we have seen how we are able to build bridges of honor and trust, because we have invested in our people and in changing the education system,” he explained.
The Emirati official expressed hope that Operation “Guardian of the Wall” will be the last war and called “that a chance be given to peace”.
