Leaders to discuss deepening Israel-UAE ties
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will fly away on Sunday for his first official visit to the United Arab Emirates, since the signing of the Abrahamic Accords in September 2020.
The Prime Minister is due to meet with the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed, on Monday.
The leaders will discuss deepening ties between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, with a focus on economic and regional issues that will contribute to prosperity, well-being and strengthening stability between the countries.
Last June, Foreign Minister Yaïr Lapid visited the Emirates to inaugurate the Israeli embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Dubai consulate.
Since the Abrahamic accords, Israel and the Emirates have developed partnerships in many areas.
The Jewish state will even establish a permanent police presence in the United Arab Emirates in order to fight organized crime led by Israelis, according to information relayed by the special envoy of i24NEWS in Dubai.
