From June 15, 2021 according to Onemileatatime citing an internal letter, the United Arab Emirates company will offer a daily flight between its base in Dubai and Tel Aviv-Ben Gurion airport , operated by Boeing 777-300ER. Departures would be scheduled at 2:40 p.m. to arrive at 5:05 p.m., with return flights leaving Israel at 7:50 p.m. to land at 11:50 p.m. Emirates Airlines has not opened sales on this route present in its reservation system, and already mentioned in April by CAPA (with a launch from May 19 and 4 weekly rotations).
The Emirati company will be in direct competition on this line with Arkia, El Al, Israir and the low cost Flydubai therefore, the UAE also being connected to Tel Aviv by Etihad Airways and soon Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.
Emirates Airlines will therefore be the latest to serve Israel, ten months after the historic first flight on August 31, 2020 between the two countries. No official announcement on the subject, the company preferring to recall the holding of the ATM 2021 (Arabian Travel Market) from May 16 to 19 , “the first face-to-face event in the sector since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic”. It will showcase the new Premium class seat that will equip its Airbus A380s , then configured to accommodate 14 passengers in First, 76 in Business class, 56 in Premium and 338 in Economy ( 484 seatsin total). Either the least dense configuration among the seven now available in its superjumbos (the most dense has 615 , in 58 + 557).
